It’s All About You, Baby!
That’s right! It’s all about you, so what are you going to do about it? You can do or say whatever. But the fact still remains the same: the only thing that is holding you back from succeeding in your business is you! You can give every little excuse you want, but the fact is you really don’t want to succeed do you? It’s so much more comfortable in the backroom; so much more fun to blame and play the victim. It’s what you do best. You’ve done it for so long that you don’t recognize the game you’re playing anymore. It has become a natural part of your being, even though you complain how life has cheated you out on so many things in life, why go on, I mean what is the point of it all anyway?
If it’s not money, it’s the spouse, the bills that keep on coming, that stupid boss, to; You can’t figure how they would ever get the position in the first place. Let’s see what else. Oh yes! It’s that idiot who just cut me off! The list keeps going on and on, especially the voice inside your head, that’s a BIG one. You would say you’re doing the talking? Well then, who’s listening?
The voice (I’ll call it the voice of knowledge, because it’s always telling what’s wrong with you) how you’re nothing, you will never make it. So play it cool, don’t make any moves, and you’ll be safe. You don’t like it, but you do feel safe. Yeah, that’s the ticket, the only way to play it. The voice says it’s protecting you . . . but is it? Does the voice really protect you from harm and disappointment or is it protecting itself to maintain power over you? I want you to take another look at this story because that’s all it is. It’s a story that we have complete control over, but we refuse to be accountable for the things that happen or the actions you might take or not! We can blame and play the victim or choose to stop and take charge over our lives. Yes, you do have the power, and you just have to give yourself permission to take hold of it. It sounds very simple, but it is hard. Just as you learn how to walk through repetitions, you have to practice how to be centered and quiet the mind everyday. I will teach you how later, I promise.
You can dream of anything. If you can believe in the real you, the real you can do almost anything. Stop believing in the lies that the voice is telling you, and you have won half the battle! …….Never Surrender!
