Branding, Yourself:
The Word. If I were to say one word, let’s say Horse, what would you envision? You probably visualize a horse running freely on the plains of the old west. If I were to say two words, God Father, the movie The God Father would instantly pop into your head. Words are so powerful they cause you to immediately produce an image in your head without thinking.
Apple, Jell-O, NIKE, McDonald’s, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Aaron Rogers…names of products and people, I need not explain who or what they are! BRAND, that’s the label that you want to be associated with. I want my name, David Michael Colorez, to be associated with the image of a leader in the network marketing field. This is what I want you to think about, how do you want to brand yourself? What is your passion? In what field? What product? It can be anything. Make it your own via articles, Facebook, Twitter, videos. The point being you have to consistently let customers know who you are, and continue doing so.
I would use your own name in most cases, but if you have a nickname associated with your name that’s fine. Just make sure you keep that nickname connected to your name, because people forget very quickly. That’s why it is crucial for you to employ a strategy that will keep you in the front of the crowd.
You can start with your own web page, but you will need a Web Host, such as Go Daddy or Host Gator, and a domain name. I would use your own name and/or your nick name as the domain name. A domain name is a unique name for your web site. Choosing a hosting solution should include domain name registration. Your domain name should be easy to remember and easy to type. One solution would be to hire a web master, just one word of advice. Don’t let their ego take charge of your design, though, think about what you want and don’t want. Investigate other sites out there to give yourself an idea of what you might want. Designing your web page is easy if you know how. I didn’t so I found a program that helped me get the job done.
