So what’s wrong with juicing anyway? Nothing, as far as I’m concerned, juicing is one of the best ways to obtain vitamins, nutrients, and even protein. It bypasses the digesting process and goes directly into your blood system. What better way to nourish your body and give the fuel it needs?
I decided to make my own V- 8, only this one would be better, no additives, artificial flavoring, MSG. My vegetables and fruit are organic, so I know every thing that’s going into my glass. I have to tell you though; I go a bit nuts sometimes, I don’t always use recipes, when it comes to juicing. I put in whatever, I happen to have in the fridge; I love it!
4 leafs lettuce
1 celery stalk
4 florets broccoli
1/2 medium cucumber
4 carrots
1/2 medium zucchini
1 medium apple, quartered & seeded.
Cut into pieces, place into your juicer one at a time and you’re ready to pump up!
Here’s a little info about zucchini you might not know about.
Zucchini is an excellent source of manganese and vitamin C. with magnesium, vitamin A, dietary fiber, potassium, copper, foliate, and phosphorus. In addition, summer squash has omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, calcium, zinc, niacin, and protein. So there you have it, add zucchini to your diet, a few times a week.
I think I’ll call this one Zucchini Green Bush.
